IS THERE A FREE TRIAL?Īs far as we know, there is no free trial co-op demo for Far Cry 5. There isn't truly official support for PvP, but there are lots of cool map remakes in all the expected modes. The only PvP multiplayer options are in Far Cry Arcade, which means the maps are fan created. DOES 'FAR CRY 5' HAVE COMPETITIVE MULTIPLAYER? If it were possible, it would've been available at launch. It's highly unlikely that Ubisoft will implement a couch co-op feature for this game. DOES 'FAR CRY 5' HAVE SPLIT-SCREEN CO-OP? In other words, you'll have to run through two sessions to totally complete each co-op mission for both players: one with you as the host and one with your friend as the host. As far as we're aware, however, it should be noted that progression during co-op sessions only applies to the host player. Your buddy will load into the map within a few minutes, and you'll be able to enjoy the entire campaign together including open-world traversal and story missions. If the steps above aren't working as described, make sure that feature is turned on. If you've turned off "opt-in" co-op in the options menu, you'll only be able to send invites and won't receive invites from others.
On PS4, it will show up as a notification that you can select to begin playing.
